Paneer tacos are a delicious and vegetarian alternative to traditional tacos. They are made with paneer, a type of Indian cheese, that is grilled or pan-fried until crispy. Paneer tacos are typically served with a variety of toppings, such as salsa, guacamole, sour cream, and lettuce.
To make paneer tacos, you will need the following ingredients:
- 1 block paneer, cut into cubes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 12 corn tortillas
Your favorite taco toppings, such as salsa, guacamole, sour cream, and lettuce
Instructions:
Preheat the grill or a large skillet over medium heat.
In a bowl, combine the paneer, olive oil, chili powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat.
Grill or pan-fry the paneer for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
Warm up the tortillas.
To assemble the tacos, place a few pieces of paneer in each tortilla. Top with your favorite taco toppings.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
Pria's Tips:
For extra flavor, marinate the paneer in a mixture of yogurt, spices, and herbs before grilling or pan-frying.
You can also add other vegetables to your paneer tacos, such as onions, peppers, or mushrooms.
If you don't have a grill, you can also cook the paneer in the oven. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and bake the paneer for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
Enjoy! ❤️
